The Seattle skyline is a beautiful sight to see with Mt. Rainer standing tall in the background but nothing is better than the sight of a kid from the streets of the greater Seattle-Tacoma area standing on top of a mountain in the Cascades they never thought they’d climb. Or listening to a youth tell you about the hopeless traps of addiction surrounding their life and being able to share perspective. Or watching a kid once part of a gang screaming with joy and fear at the same time as she/he stares at a fast
approaching whitewater rapid. Through extreme adventure Peak7 brings hope and valuable life-skills to the at-risk and homeless youth of Western Washington. Regardless the background of our participants we aim to meet kids where they are and help them move forward from where they stand. Whether it is fear, insecurity, addiction, or shame, through our outdoor programs Peak7 provides the gear, the venue, and the support for kids from any background to overcome the obstacles they face.
