Three day (17 mile) route down the Washington coast along the edge of the Olympic National Park. This route is a great introduction to backpacking, with multiple creek crossings and beautiful sunsets.



Difficulty Level: Beginner

No prior climbing experience is required. Climbers should be in good physical condition and it is recommended that they have some backpacking experience.

Monte Cristo

Monte Cristo area offers some extra challenge with 10 miles roundtrip and 3,000 feet of elevation gain. Camp in an alpine basin full of streams, lakes, and meadows at the base of Foggy Peak and Silvertip Peak.

Cascade Pass & Sahale
Three to four day backpacking route in the Northern Cascades with approximately 17 miles round trip and 5000-6000 vertical gain. This area boasts views down the Stehekin valley and into the heart of the North Cascades, with great sunrises/sunsets from camp.

Image Lake

Three to four day backpacking route that starts along the wild and scenic Suiattle River, and climbs 4400 feet up a rugged ridge to the iconic Image Lake in Glacier Peak wilderness. This challenging 32 mile route is well worth the campsite views of Glacier Peak.
