Volunteer with Peak 7!

Volunteers are an important part of our mission to transform lives through outdoor adventure. From the volunteer guides who raft, climb, hike, and snowshoe with participants every year, to the drivers and photographers shuttling trailers and capturing stories, to those who help with construction, event planning, or data entry at the warehouse and office, we would not be here without dozens of committed volunteers in Spokane and Seattle.

As a Peak 7 volunteer, you get to witness the impact of our trips first-hand, hear participants' stories and watch them overcome challenges, and be part of a growing community of passionate people committed to creating outdoor opportunities for marginalized communities. Volunteers also have access to continuing education such as climbing training, Raft Guide School, and Wilderness First Responder.
We have the greatest need for volunteers as guides for full and half day trips during the spring and summer season. However, winter snowshoeing and the ever-present warehouse work mean that there's a way for you to stay involved year round! The schedule and time commitment are flexible, with most of our volunteers coming out on 2-3 trips a year as they are able.

The connection and community that is built through outdoor recreation are more important than ever as we navigate the stresses of today’s world. Start the process of becoming a volunteer today and join us to serve youth in your community!

"I volunteer for Peak 7 because I love how they help youth try new things and experience the outdoors. From snowshoeing, to paddle boarding it has been so fun seeing how even just a day of new experiences can be so beneficial in kids lives."
