Join the Adventure — Become a Peak 7 Guide

Peak 7 Adventures provides life-changing outdoor experiences—backpacking, climbing, mountaineering, and whitewater rafting—for youth and marginalized communities across the Northwest. We’re looking for passionate, Christ-centered leaders to join our 2026 guide team and help facilitate these transformative adventures.

As a Peak 7 guide, you’ll grow your outdoor and leadership skills while serving youth alongside a vibrant community of adventure-loving guides. If you’re adaptable, quick to learn, and thrive in dynamic environments, we want to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For:
  • A heart for youth and a desire to share God’s love through word and action.
  • Strong interpersonal skills—self-awareness, empathy, conflict resolution, and teamwork.
  • Flexibility and initiative; schedules and trip plans can shift quickly.
  • Experience leading groups or working with diverse populations.

Season Details:
  • Training: Begins May 26, 2026 (attendance required).
  • Season: May 26 – August 31, 2026 (flexible end date).
  • Location: Based in Spokane, WA.

What You’ll Gain:
  • Wilderness First Responder certification.
  • Technical training in mountaineering, rafting, and more.
  • On-the-job coaching in group management and leadership.
  • Optional housing and a seasonal stipend ($2,500+, based on experience) with opportunities for fundraising support. Peak 7 covers meals when on trips.

How Peak 7 Hires:
  • Returning guides will receive priority consideration
  • Applications are open starting in October
  • Applicants will be interviewed and references will be checked, but employment decisions will not be finalized until March 2. Successful applicants will be notified at that time. After March 2, applications will be closed if our team is full.
