Acknowledgment of Child Protection Policy

Introduction:
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have received, read, and understood the Peak 7 Adventures Child Protection Policy. I agree to comply with all guidelines and standards outlined in this policy as a condition of my employment or volunteer service.

Core Commitments:

Background Checks: I understand that a personal and criminal background check is required before I begin work. I acknowledge that any history of sexual crimes, violent crimes, or crimes against minors will result in automatic non-selection.

Supervision Standards: I agree to follow the "no one-on-one" rule, ensuring I am never alone with an underage participant and that any necessary private conversations occur within the line of sight of others.

Appropriate Boundaries: I have reviewed the guidelines for appropriate and inappropriate affection. I agree to maintain professional boundaries and understand that any unwanted affection is considered inappropriate.

Mandatory Reporting: I understand my responsibility as a mandatory reporter. I agree to immediately report any reasonable suspicion of abuse to the appropriate state authorities (DHS or Law Enforcement) and to document the report using Peak 7’s Incident Report form.

Accusations & Cooperation: I understand that any accusation of abuse will result in my immediate removal from duties involving minors pending investigation, and that Peak 7 will cooperate fully with law enforcement.
